It is my privilege to serve in several ministries at Maranatha Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. This church, which is located at 4663 Trabue Road on the west side of the city, maintains a full schedule of ministries and activities which are firmly rooted in the Scriptures and which reach out to people who need to know what God's Word has to say to them.

Currently I serve on the Deacon Board of the church, teach in the Adult Bible School department, and serve with my wife as a small group leader.

Deacon Watchcare Group

Maranatha divides its families into ten Watchcare Groups, each group under the general supervision of a deacon. Our groups meet generally once a month during a regular service for encouragement and prayer. Our Watchcare Groups also meet from time to time for fellowship, for social activities, and for work projects.

Adult Bible School Classes

I am teaching a class on Galatians at Maranatha from September to November during the Sunday School hour (9:30 - 10:30 am each Sunday). Details are in the column on the left.

Small Group Ministry

Maranatha is now officially a church of small groups. Linda and I are leaders of one of the twelve groups that meet on Sunday evenings. We meet Sundays according to the schedule posted at the top of the right column here.

Pastor Timothy Kenoyer is Senior Pastor at Maranatha. He is assisted by Pastor Sol Green, Family Ministries Pastor. You can visit the church's website at www.mbccolumbus.org.
