Ministries at Maranatha Baptist Church

It is my privilege to serve in several ministries at Maranatha Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio. This church, which is located at 4663 Trabue Road on the west side of the city, maintains a full schedule of ministries and activities which are firmly rooted in the Scriptures and which reach out to people who need to know what God's Word has to say to them.

Currently I serve with my wife as a small group leader. Although I am one of the Adult Bible School teachers at Maranatha, I do not teach every quarter.

Small Group Ministry
 Our Small Group meets the first, third and fourth Sundays of the month, usually from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The location varies according to the following schedule.

Sunday, May 20 - Meet at Smiths 4:00 to 6:00 pm

Sunday, May 27 - Meet at Parsons 4:00 to 6:00 pm

Sunday, Jun 3 - Meet at Parsons 4:00 to 6:00 pm

Sunday, May 10 - Family Gathering @ church 6:00 pm
My Churches

These are the churches with which I have been affiliated over the years.

Central United Church, Windsor, Ontario; attended occasionally 1941-1951; baptized (sprinkled) from this church.

Tabernacle Baptist Church, Windsor, Ontario; attended Vacation Bible School, 1951. Read about this important event in my life in my book Windsor's Child

First United Methodist Church, Lincoln Park, Michigan; member 1957-1960.

First Baptist Church, Lincoln Park, Michigan; member 1960-1965; baptized (immersed) in this church. Read Church of My Youth about my association with this church. Also, read chapters 10 through 16 of This Little Life of Mine which include people and events from this church.

Calvary Baptist Church, Grand Rapids, Michigan; member 1965-1970.

Emmanuel Baptist Church, Flint, Michigan; Assistant Pastor 1970-1974. I was ordained in this church. You can read about that in This Little Life of Mine Chapter 31 Set Apart for Gospel Ministry

First Baptist Church, Oglesby, Illinois; Pastor 1974-1995.

Maranatha Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio; member 1995-present.
Pastor Timothy Kenoyer is Senior Pastor at Maranatha. He is assisted by Pastor Sol Green, Family Ministries Pastor, and Pastor Andrew Manwiller, Family Youth Pastor. You can visit the church's website at www.mbccolumbus.org.
