Recently research was done on my family history, and also that of my wife. We traced our ancestors back through many different family lines to Holland, England, Scotland and Germany.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of our ancestors are represented by just names and dates, and even some of those are incomplete. Their stories were buried with them after their death and remain unknown to me.

But there are some family stories I know, stories about people who lived in different times and places and had unusual experiences that made their lives different than most. It is these family stories that I choose to tell here.

Only the stories of those who have died will be told here; we do not wish to tell the stories of those who are still living.

Some of these family stories were included in my book Windsor's Child.

I am indebted to my niece, Lynda Fleiner, who did much of the geneological research that supports these stories, and to Ancestors.com which provided many names and dates for the people described here. I am also indebted to Wayne Messecar, who has also researched our family tree extensively.

I hope you enjoy reading some of our family stories.

THIS LITTLE LIFE OF MINE I have been writing my life story for some time now, preparing it primarily so that my grandchildren and others who follow me will know the story of what God did in my life. This series contains excerpts from that account.
